The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has published the list of participants and the presentations of the different speakers of the workshop "Measuring the impact of pharmacovigilance activities" held in December 2016 to provide an overview of existing methods to measure how effectively pharmacovigilance activities have been implemented in healthcare systems and how regulatory actions have changed the use of medicines in clinical practice for the benefit of patients.
Within this workshop, which gathered the expertise from international partners and stakeholder in pharmacovigilance activities, Dr. Nawab Qizilbash, Head of OXON; London School of Hygiene &amp; Tropical Medicine; Hospital Cantoblanco, Madrid; Joint coordinator of ENCePP Special Interest Group on Impact of PV Activities participated in:
- Presenting a Quantitative Review of Survey Studies to Evaluate the Effectiveness of Additional Risk Minimisation Measures in Europe
- Co-chairing Session 4 of the EMA workshop along with a European Regulator.
